Crest

The cross on the upper left represents Catalonia’s patron saint St. George’s cross. The stripes on the upper right represent the Catalan flag. On the lower half of the crest are the team colors blue and red, topped with a football.

CLUB HISTORY

FC Barcelona was founded in 1899, and they have continuously reigned supreme ever since the beginning of La Liga in 1928. FC Barcelona have won La Liga, Copa del Rey, and UEFA Champions League during their 2008-2009 season, achieving a historic treble. Furthermore they have won Supercopa de España, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup later in 2009, winning all 6 possible cups a club can attain in a single year. FCB wrote another history during the 2014-2015 season by achieving an unprecedented second treble, cementing their place as Europe’s finest.
